Vibratory Rock Tumblers
Vibratory Tumblers
This is the smallest vibratory tumbler we have. This is a single 2.5 pound bowl & lid with a vibratory drive unit. Tagit tumblers are famous for their quiet operation and long-lasting parts. We recommend that you use one bowl for the Silicone Carbide powders and a separate bowl for your polish powders, as the SiC tends to embed in the plastic bowl. Consider running up to a maximum of three bowls at once with this unit. Order a Piggyback Unit below for each bowl you want to add.
Price: $175.95
Each Piggyback Unit has four retainer springs and one bowl with a lid. Order two kits to reach the maximum of three bowls vibrating simultaneously on the Model B tumbler.

This spray bottle is the secret to getting a perfect slurry in a vibratory load. First, rinse off the clean rocks (and shapes, if used) and put them in the vibratory bowl, with no additional water. Now add the appropriate amount of powder (grit or polish) and turn the unit on. As the powder mixes with the rock, shapes & water, watch to see if it remains too dry. I use a stir stick to mix things up and reduce the waiting time. If the slurry appears to "cake" on the rocks, it is a little too dry. Use your Secret Weapon to squirt once only, then wait & watch (or stir) again. When the slurry appears moist, but thick, stop adding water. There should be NO standing water on the bottom of the bowl, and the rocks & shapes should be thickly coated with the slurry.
